UPDATE: 'Veterans For Peace' tells Newzar that Scott Olsen is in a serious but stable condition in hospital. He suffered a fractured skull as a result of being struck in the head by a teargas canister.
EARLIER: A veteran who is part of the Occupy protests is believed to have been shot in the head by a rubber bullet fired by police in Oakland, Ca. Police used teargas to keep protestors and flash grenades from reaching their site. New disturbing video is believed to show a bloodied and wounded Scott Olsen of the group Veterans For Peace being carried away.

Also I think we need to get rid of this two party...I oppose everything that you are for even though I havent even fucking heard your ideas yet. Thats not the voice of the majority of americans. I think we all want the same things right? A fair chance. Freedoms. Rights...the majority of americans work 40 plus hours a week, and pay like 20-30 percent of our small ass paychecks. We deserve a fair chance.

This news brief is flawed: It shows us Beck repeating his red-baiting mythology about who constitutes the OWS; it shows us Obama accusing every other leader for failure to deal with the issues OWS is raising, and has him suggesting that the problem is that people "feel" the deck is stacked against them rather than admitting that the deck has been stacked against them for decades. But there is no interview with any real live OWS participant. Shame on Newzar.
