LPS stands for Lower Porcupine single-track. The Notch is a technical drop towards the top of this awesome single-track. On any given day someone is sure to get wrecked in this technical yard sale. Porcupine single-track is arguably the best in the world for bikers. This footage has been compiled over the last three plus years by Utah locals who love biking. I have seen the notch sent in 4+ inches of snow by Rod Miller featured in this film. Film never does this drop justice. You must see it to believe it.

  • Curious about doing this trail. Poss on hardtail 29er? notice everyone super geared up, how many ridiculously technical sections like this are there?

  • @nord0416 I have seen many people on hardtails riding this trail. It is a little bumpy in a couple spots. I would do it either way. 6 inches or more of suspension is for sure the ticket. The pads are just confidence builders for the notch and about three other obstacles, all of which are optional. Go ride!

  • wow it looks like a chamelion attacking a smaller lizard, did he kill it and eat it?

  • @Snakeguts The Lizard ended up getting away in the end. I felt like a national geographic photographer catching that footage.

  • Rod's comments are all part of the peanut gallery effect that makes Moab a good time with good friends.

  • Nice to see someone in a full face, and killer Godzilla stuff in the beginning. Did u loose anyone? Home safe I hope.

  • If you can believe, No one I have been with has ever been seriously hurt here. Some bruised egos, shoes ripped off, contusions, abrasions, etc.

  • Very nice.

  • enjoyed the video...looks like you all had fun. Can't wait for winter to end so I can start riding again.

  • Loved the video. It looks steep and I know it's even steelper than the camera makes it look. That one guy flew down and around the corner.
