@1954phyllis God declared all of His creation to be good. Music is just vibrations in the air, like birds chirping, dogs barking, brooks babbling, etc... The message is what's important. Scripture is God's word whether in English, Spanish, or Russian. God's message is God's message, whether sung to heavy metal, country or rap. In Mark 7 Jesus tells us to worship God and not worry about man-made rules. What's music to the devil is Christians arguing over superfluous matters.

@MrStevekehl God did not declare all things good especially devil's music. What God declared good was His creation. Not all music glorifies God. A christian has no business listening to heavy metal, rock, country, rap or any other music that is devilish.

@1954phyllis The gospel of John says through Him all things were made, and in Genesis God declared all things good, that includes music. Satan can't take anything from God. So a style of music can't be evil in and of itself, just like language can't be evil. The thoughts expressed by lyrics make a song good or bad, morally speaking.

Notice how JG singles out "extremes", and folk that don't like CCM. Did u notice at the end of the clip a caller asked about music young ones can listen to after Jeff knocks all the stuff u "can't". Listen carefully - he said "...the bible has the answers,I don't ..." I believe he doesn't, like he admitted, but talks like he does. He's avoided it here. PA
