  • These are actually Theropods not 'Terrorphods' :)

  • please, next time read the description...

I know this bipedal carnivores are called theropods, I'm tired of people correcting me...

    but it's alright anyway...

  • Hey isnt it true Allosaurus evolved into Giganotosaurus. I heard that Allosaurus migrated from North america to south america and became Giganotosaurus.

Allosaurus is always my fave dinosaur. In walking with dinosaurs Allosaurus was the king. It took down massive sauropods and stegasaurus's by itself.

    GO ALLOSAURUS!!!

    Great vid by the way.

  • thanks... ^_^ not sure tho abut the evolutionary path that allosaurids took... giga might either have a direct ancestry or a seperate one to it...

  • I thought Charcarodonthsaurus was Gigantosaurus! XD

  • actually, Giga and Carcha are sister species and almost the same, just different places... ^_-

  • the size comparison between all of them is incorrect. the dinosaurus are just put here with whatever size

  • Pretty cool!

  • The T-Rex looks awesome man!

  • @GeorgieZillaFan t-rex was 45ft long allo was 33ft long and t-rex was 7 tonnes allo was only 3 tonnes

  • @TheDwortham yes t-rex is heavier and much stronger than spino but spino was taller and longer than t-rex

  • @Darthvader2573 The dinosaurs you described are very different and could never be called the same species.

Velociraptor was a lightweight dinosaur with hollow bones and perhaps feathers, whereas T-Rex was a giant 8+ ton dinosaur that was capable of crushing bones with its bite. How are they similar?

Allosaurus and Giganotosaurus both had narrow skulls with relatively small teeth, large and powerful hindlimbs, small three-fingered forelimbs and a long heavy tail. They are very similar.

  • @gingy717 I know, but it can migrate to a different place and stay the same thing, but have a different home.Just because it goes somewhere else, does not mean that it gets a whole new body.It is true that they are similar, there are lots of dinosaurs that are very much similar to eachother.I could just sit here and name every single one for you. They are:Tyrannosaurus+Allosaurus+Giganotosaurus+Carcharodontosaurus+Velociraptor+Albertosaurus+Tarbosaurus,

    Camarosarusus+Brachiosaurus+Apatosaurus

  • @Darthvader2573 Over millions of years EVERY animal changes and evolves. It makes perfect sense that an animal would migrate to more suitable climate and then evolve to become better adapted to living in its new environment.

I have read that Allosaurus and Giganotosaurus are very similar. Palaeontologists originally thought of placing Giganotosaurus under the Allosaurus genus because Allosaurus and Giganotosaurus fossils where so similar.

  • @gingy717 Allosaurus never changed, and it doesn't make sense that he just migrated to a different place and became a whole different dinosaur.Giganotosaurus and Allosaurus clearly are very differnt to dino experts like me.And,the picture of Allosaurus on here,is not like a real one.Allosaurus did not have a snout that long or a neck that skinny. It was exactly like Tyrannosaurus, not a difference.
