filmed live in Riazzino, Switzerland, March, 1981, *****BILLY COBHAM - dr, GIL GOLDSTEIN - keyb, MICHAL URBANIAK - viol, MIKE STERN - g, TIM LANDERS - bg
wow - cool - next time I play live I'll install a mirror above my kit.
huh!
kinda reminiscent of that Mary Tyler Moore episode where Betty White is lieing down on her massage-vibrating bed while looking up at the ceiling mirror - HOT.
No noonward race here.
Is that JLP on the fid?
This performance could have benefitted greatly if the band Flipper was able to somehow accompany them on this.
I've dug this particular group of players for over 26 yrs.I've always been a fan of Mike Stern and Tim Landers as well as Baron Brown and Charles Singleton ( yeah the Charles Singleton who played with Cameo)
Sick chops all around and Cobham's effortless transitions in/out of the various forms (Swing, Traditional Jazz, Progressive Fusion) are such a pleasure to see/hear.
i was lucky enough to have seen them on this tour. great ensemble. unfortunately, it took place in an arena, and sound was horrid. sorry for stealing your chorus pedal off the stage Tim.
Amazing.

Underrated band, Glass Menagerie, overlooked 1981 LP as well. I listen to it every week!
