Back in the day, with lyrical roles Alagna was quite good in my opinion, and I liked him in those. His ego and poor judgement got the best of him, so I feel no sympathy at all for the man.

When Big Pava was booed at La Scala he was 59 years old. When Alagna was booed, he was only 43. At 43, he should have been at the top of his game. He already started to decline.. prematurely.
