Speed Art - EVE Is Art - Slothwerx Designs

This project was 7 hours in the making... 3 of it was on the picture alone.

This is the first in my EVE is Art photo manipulation series. All pictures, except for the two planets inside the nebula were used from in-game screen shots taken by me, in EVE Online. The Nebula used was the one in I believe the system, Tash-Murkon Prime (its been a loooong day heh.) The planet used was New Caldari, and the ships used, were a Wyvern class Super Carrier (or to some of us bitter vets, we still call them Motherships :P ), as well as a Crow class Interceptor. All the Lighting, Shadowing, Coloring, Smuding... etc... lol, was done with my Wacom Tablet. I have spent alot of time on this, and could really use some feed back from you guys.

Where do you get your stock of ships? :) been searching around for awhile now for my own speed arts :)

I used the in game ship viewer in eve online to get the angles i need. Its not perfect (mainly cause the lack of the ability to use the advanced camera tool, and the fact that in the ship viewer the ships dont have the guns on them.)

thats really good for the ship viewer, trust me on that one, i'm thinking of start up a few myself but its just finding good stock, thinking about waiting till i've got my GTX 560TI 2GB and then just going into game and putting HDR and going print screen happy c:

My only gripe is the idea of a planet hiding behind a nebula cloud... that is just ridiculous in every sense or form.
