  • NugNog, 3 cent piece showed up in the upper 20s / lower 30s. it was deep and worn. In addition, after even further research, it is possible that the chain was part of a horse bridle (the chain part that went under the bit / the part that went under the bottom portion of the mouth from one side to the other. thanks for your comments.

  • Great hunt with the Fishers !, not sure what the link chain is, not a cloak clasp, i dug one of them and dont look nothing like that. not sure about that find. I love the 3 cent peice, seems you only find them at CW era sites , not at old houses. Good luck on your next hunt.

  • @nuggetnoggin NugNog, It showed up in the upper 20s/ lower 30s if I remember correctly. Bouncy. It was worn and deep so that was the best I could get out of it. Thanks for your comments. CCH
