USA? Best economy in the developed world? Where is the cave you been hiding in? Australia has the best economy right now of any developed nation in the world (source- IMF). The whole government hate campaign is fueled by the corporate media and mining magnates. If the people were better informed they would be happy that our country is doing so well instead of whinging like a pack of Poms. Liberal are anti-logic and say anything for votes. We need a govt with morals.

....the reason they cut the cash rate* by 50 basis points was BECAUSE our inflation was getting a bit high, this happens when an economy is doing well...

Australia is doing so well due to WA's mining and recourse sector which is why we survived the GFC mark 1 and will survive the GFC mark 2. The only reason why we might slump in the future is due to investors having lower confidence levels due to the crashes happening around the world.

Btw, headline unemployment rate doesn't really mean much. you can save your breath, if you plan to bring that up as an argument.
