I remember well buying this album. It came highly recommended by the magazine CMJ and I really had no idea what it would sound like. The mag had a lot of musical credibility so I went to the store and bought it. This album is a little jewel. Few artists sound like PJ and this album is like a long carpet of musical bliss.

I wish Polly Jean and Nick Cave stayed together, got married, and had ridiculously talented babies. Then the next generation might have stood a chance.

When listening to PJ , the first thing that comes to mind -is a term that's often used but rarely appropriate...genius.But I bet she would prefer to be considered....HONEST.
