@zeinelrez123494 As I understand it, somebody (Carl Orff perhaps?) wrote the "lyrics" from notes or diary entries made by the scribes who, praise their memory, copied ancient Scripture as best they could in the monasteries.
Consider the oppressive lives they led --e.g. "vita detestabilis" and imagine the even worse plight of the peasants who had even less education.
Then next time you meet a mathematics teacher, physicist, chemist, biologist, technician, or plumber, thank him or her.
