Happy Birthday, Big Man. He would have been 70 today. I suppose someone had to be the first of the band to die, and he was the oldest... but it's still a loss.

I saw E-street band once, clarence had that ability to get in to ones mind..just listen...wow..powerful stuff!

From day one, when I heard Clarence play on Bruce's first record,my skin had goosebumps..how much soul and passion can one man put into playing the sax..I can't wait to hear your son Mr. Bill Clemmons. The world needs him.

Thanks everyone for loving my brother! This song has been playing over and over in my mind. I lose it at the end, where Bruce cries out the moaning sound. It's how I feel each time I hear it. As a retired professor of music and saxophonist, I've tried to mimic my brother's sound, yet can not do it. But wait until you hear my son, Jake Clemons, play. It's almost like Clarence reincarnated.
