  • Did you get this year's? 'Twas fab. And one of the dancers was a little boy. Was really hoping someone would youtube it.

  • Yes. But idiot I am I was facing into the sun a bit.

Also got a stick dance. Will post later

  • It's hard to beleive that I worked in this village for 5 years!!

  • Sorry strip light sent yuo the wrong message. Most of the yerar Datchet suffers form trafic going to the motorway M4. But on Boixing Day it is a quiet English village. Lovely old pub next to ancient church, could be in Devon or Dorset.Morris dancers going for yerars and now three dancers who are three genberations, lad ,dad and grandad!

  • OMG, what the hell is this? Can Braire Rabbit come out to play to?

  • Do you mean brere rabbit? Keep smoking it, you could be the next Brit prime minister but one. It is a traditional English folk dance. In England we have old folk customs where no one gets killed!

  • Excellent, I love Datchet - Used to go to the school in the left hand side of the vid. Only thing that ruins Dtchet is the constant flow of traffic passing through.

  • The stick dance! That one was great! Can't wait to see it.

  • Excellent! Thanks for posting this. A great Datchet Christmas tradition. Only two "t"s in Datchet though

    :-)

  • Great! Thanks for the info. I lived in Datchet for 20 years so I kind of know what Morris dancing is, lol. I hope you continue having a great time dancing but I think I will stick to the kick boxing.

PS. I dont smoke, but please dont forget to vote for me in the next general election. (Are you sure its spelt Brere? (I stand corrected.)
