IS IT REALLY THE BEAV FROM LEAVE IT TO BEAVER. YOU BETCHYA IT IS. GEE WALLY. CUT IT OUT BEAV. TWO YRS AFTER LEAVE IT TO BEAVER ENDED IN 63. THE BEAVER TRIED HIS HAND AT SINGING A GARAGE SONG. HIS FAME DIDN'T MATTER AS THIS WAS ON A SMALL INDEPENDENT LABEL. AND HIS LACK OF ANY VOCAL TALENT DIDN'T HELP EITHER. GOLLY BEAV COULDN'T YOU FIGURED OUT SOMETHING BETTER THAN SINGING. GEE WALLY I DUNNO KNOW I THOUGHT I COULD REALLY DO IT.

  • Good song! Beaver recorded Wind Up Toy in 1962.

  • This song gets played on "Buried Treasure" on KNND AM 1400 in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Tuesdays, 11 am - Noon. Streaming on the web.

  • Yeah, I just found out today that he was in a rock band. It makes sense.. Man, this is such a discovery. : ) But, why kept a secret?!?!?

  • This is such a rare find!!!! Thanks!!! To me it doesn't sound like Beaver, but it still great!!! He actually did sing and record a single with Richard Correll in 1962 called Wind Up Toy. Richard played Beaver's friend Richard Rickover in the LITB series. I have favored both songs.

  • @dahur

More like '66. The Beav was barely 14 in 1962.

  • Yup, I think it was from around 1962

  • Yeah! I really like this! The Beav rocks out!

  • I love beaver!

  • NICE TUNE - it sure sounds like Jerry Mathers!
