Recorded live at the Uptown Theater in Chicago, Illinois on October 28,1980. This song appears on the AUDIO-VISIONS album and this performance is on the tour for that album. The song is written by Kerry Livgren and is one of my favorite Kansas tunes.

  • Love this one too. No one is me and you. Yumm. Thanks again. :-)

  • The truth that lies before us is plain for all to see!

  • I was there! One of the best concerts I have ever seen! Thanks! I remeber they played the Uptown to make a recording for a radio broadcast and we were lucky enough tto catch them in a smaller venue. Awesome night!

  • You're welcome.

  • Nice job dude! I classify this as one of the best songs for them to play live. I find it interesting that there are several very good soundboard recordings from the 80-81 AV Tour but only one (storm damaged one) from the 79 tour.

  • Thanks Cooper! I've posted a very clean and great sound quality recording of "OTOS" from a 1979 concert in Springfield, Missouri. It was a bonus track from the '94 box set (I'm sure you already knew of it). So someone (probably Kerry) has the master recording for at least one show from the '79 tour that is top quality! Perhaps more? I understand that Sony owns the rights to all of that stuff so they need to consider releasing more of that stuff!

  • A faceless band commercially, but one that blew so many known acts off the stage when they were coming up. In 1975, you prayed that Kansas didn't open for you.

  • Love this, Rick! Rarely had a band used the Violin like Kansas! And did they use it well!

  • Fantastic. Do you need to say anything else? This Kansas at their best. Sublime, just sublime.

  • WOW

  • This is right from the board. This is my all time favorite Kansas recording. Great sound man.
