Would you recommend this camera for snowmobiling? We ride up in Wyoming and I have always wanted to try out a helmet cam. Just trying to figure out the best one. Thanks

@magicmarker95 Yes! This would be a wicked camera for that.. You can change you settings on the fly with a smart phone or pre set two settings.. maybe overcast and daylight. Great helmet mount camera and would be pretty cool to strap a ski pole behind you for the over the shoulder view. Vey versatile with the rotating lens, you could mount on top of you helmet and rotate the lens or switch to the side view.. up to you.

@PointOfViewCameras Hi. you mentioned on the comment to magicmarker95 that you could change settings on a smart phone on the Contour roam, but their website doesn't say anything about it, so can you or can you not change them with a smart phone on the ROAM??

@TheSilentButton Negative, that was my bad. You van with the GPS and the +. The ROAM has to be pre set. Sorry for the confusion, i had just finished replying to a viewer about the + and then answered magicmarker95 question.

I race at velodromes around the US. I've always wanted to film them and I'm wondering if this camera would be good for that. Could you give some advice on what camera I should use?

Btw, my price range is between $200-$400.

Can you replace the battery? lol Batteries don't last forever.

@TheSilentButton That didn't do anything. They just released a second firmware update about a month ago that finally fixed the audio problem. It works fine now.  Adjusting the mic sensitivity wasn't the solution. That update was.
