  • @anthony6661 are you sure about that so if they push it in Lake Victoria how will that help?/

  • @karuitha that is a very good idea,, the sad thing is that the gov, is not really doing anything

  • The whole, rewarding mps as ministers because of party affiliation needs to stop. People sitting in ministerial posts should be a lifelong successful master of the specified jobs their positions require. As for now, get used to scenes like this.

  • Karuthia, I really don't think that they don't know what to do. I've just come to accept that Kenya runs on a different clock, it is called African timing. Plus situations like this exist because someone making money out of it will kill to maintain the status quo.

  • LoL!Dump site if death!

  • I thought I saw Martha Karua touring one of such recycling plants in the states earlier this year or was it just for the cameras back home. If she ever wants to win our hearts and minds, she needs to get an issue like this one and make it her main election subject. I remember when Tony Blair first ran for office his pet subject was 3 things education, education, education. he won with a landslide.

  • @K Thinking took a leave long ago here...what so rocket science about safe recycling? Everybody wins! Lakini wapi ndugu yangu, we're obviously doomed!

  • i said the city council needs to construct a more industrial dumping site where garbage can be sorted, renewable and those that cant be recycled disposed off in a more safe way. The officials should tour western countries and see how waste is disposed.

  • 'Dump site if death'? is worse than the dump moving to Ruai! Yu don't solve a problem by creating another one!

What happened to thinkers? Too many stinkers around!
