Australia won the women's 4x100-meter freestyle relay final to successfully defend the title they won in Montreal two years ago. Libby Lenton, Melanie Schlanger, Shayne Reese and Jodie Henry won the gold in a combined time of three minutes, 35.48 seconds, just 0.26 outside the world record. The United States finished second in 3:35.68 with the Netherlands taking the bronze in 3:36.81. The current world record holders Germany finished fourth. (WCSN, WCSN.com)

Injury struck her unfortunately. I heard she is on the comeback trail. Jodie is a very unique character. She has never had the drive and motivation of Libby Lenton. Yet, she's super talented and pretty. While on the other hand, shy and modest.

Poor Jodie couldn't defend her 100m Free title at Beijing due to her long term pelvic injury.
It was such a shame. She is such a great racer.
