Making a lost luggage claim

We wanted the general public to know a little bit of how it is from our point of view when you make a lost luggage claim. We had fun making this. Hope you enjoy.

I work at OAK and spend time with my CSA friends in the baggage office and all you said is spot on. I was chuckling since all you did, I've seen myself. Keys and medication in lost check-in happens all the time! Also, my co-workers have had pens and phones thrown at them, spit at, and threatened with death while working in baggage, ridiculous!

That cop was probably hitting on you. I can't believe he'd get so worried about you doing a training video in your own office.  What an idiot!

So far I have not been spit on or hit, but have had to call airport police a couple of times though. We just made this to have fun, but also to let travelers see what it's like from both sides. Maybe we will make some more... we'll see. The cop was sent down by dispatch because they saw us filming on camera. I just let it go... what else could I do?

hahahahha...that was absolutly halarious!!! What about the part where the passenger wraps their hands around your neck and chokes the airline employee till the airport police have to stun them...lol...I see why you got busted you 2 sooo look like terrorist :P

Our luggage was"delayed" Dec 12 2007. Ironic enough in Philly!We were nice, played the game, still playing. No one else is helping maybe u could!LOL Where is the land of "delayed" luggage!!!

That's the very reason that Philly was mentioned... passengers are always complaining about them! We are thinking about making more spoof videos and maybe some travel tip videos from the airline agent point of view.

Remember people always carry important items on you at all times these include your favourite magazine, an extra pair of socks, your twinkie etc. It is advised that you put all items of lesser value like your laptop, carkeys,passport etc in your lugage (not your carry-on please!) thank you for your attention.

I can't believe people don't keep important items on their person. Do they put wallets in checked bags too?

I bet it gets to be frustrating.

A lot of plain black luggage is simply stolen on the carousel by regular thieves who do that for a living. Use a bag that stands out in color or put some kind of unusual big colorful decal on your bag.
