you people just don't understand. Quebec organizers of the show was trying to demean her by calling her an english artist because they felt dissed that she went and betrayed them (quebec) by singing in the English American market. so they were trying to marginalize her and mock her by calling her an english artist so she refused the award and told them to stuff it basically. she told them she's proud of her english albums and can be/sing whatever she wants.
