Someone help please. I've been to Thailand and heard incredible music there. Very funky, with great bass loops, great live drums, old electric guitar sounds, and energic female voices. It seems that it's morlam music (it sounds near the music of this video) but I can't find as funky as I've heard in Bangkok. Many of the morlam tracks I find are a bit cheesy... Please help me finding some good ones...

Look at the Sublime Frequencies catalog on their website. The world music they put out tends to be a lot less cheesy than other world music labels.

Also Cambodian Khmer rock sounds similar. You cant buy too much of it in the US but Youtube seems to have a limitless amount of it
