I've always thought the same thing. This is the absolute best version of the song. It should have been on an album and it should have had the keyboard on it. Radiohead really tend to over-think and over analyze what they do. Sometimes what you have right from the start is the best thing to go with.

"just, don't leave...don't leave..." this version is just incredible

YES. THIS IS "THE" VERSION!

I don't understand why they cut the keyboards out of the album version.. And why he doesn't sing with a quiver in his voice as well.. This is the best version by far.

This is the first version I heard of this song. Still the best one.

This will always be THE version of True Love Waits. The keyboard is gorgeous and Thom never sang this as well as he did here. It's got that bright Takamine acoustic sound too. It all works perfectly.

If there were ever a Radiohead moment to make me weep it's here at 3:15, the way he sings "I'm not living," I loved this song from the time I first heard it on the I might be wrong live album but ever since I found this version it somehow doesn't seem nearly as good.. I would have loved to have been at this one
