I found this little guy for 13 bucks online
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8422

And I already had a bluetooth dongle laying around, but here is one for $25 bucks
http://cgi.ebay.com/Bluetooth-Stereo-HiFi-Audio-Wireless-Transmitter-Dongle_W...

With these two you can make any audio device wireless. Even your 7 year old iPod to you're home stereo or even car. Even if you don't get the 2nd device, any device that transmits A2DP (iphone 3.0, many many phones) then you can user your favorite pair of headphones as wireless headphones.

  • I cant find the bluetooth dongle? the ebay link you have doesnt work anymore, and i really wanna do this. can you find another one? thanks

  • @BornToBeSomebody4U the ebay link was just for a blue tooth dongle. that isn't special you can get those anywhere. the dealextreme link is the actual device im talking about and its still a valid link.

  • @optikalefxx Thank you for replying so Quickly. Just one last Question I went on to your web site where you can buy this and I couldn't find it or anything like this can you point me in the right direction like on the web site what section of products did you search under? I went to something like computers and bluetooth. Is that the right section? If not can you point me in the right direction? Thank you so much.

  • @Amalemodel I put the link in the descrption. Is it invalid?

  • @Optikalefxx not the recover the sender. The device that you have plugged into your headphone jack you wouldn't need that if you had an iPhone running 3.0 or above correct but you would need the Bluetooth receiver to make the headphones wireless

  • @Amalemodel Correct. If you have bluetooth headphones you don't nedled this. But of you have a wired cheapos this will

    make it wireless

  • @BornToBeSomebody4U type into google, "bluetooth 3.5mm A2DP Stereo Audio Dongle Adapter Transmitter," and peruse the interwebs, they're all over.

  • Is there any delay from the device to the headphones?

  • Hello, question,do you think you or someone you know, could make a standard wireless xbox 360 controller use bluetooth or wifi of some kind to directly connect to a windows 7 computer and play pc games, just the controller to computer, no wires or adapters. If you could successfully do this, could you put a video showing what you did and connecting and using it and give a short demo to show all the buttons working to the actions your trying to perform eg pressing (a) jump (x) attack etc

  • I'm planning on making some wireless headphones (Nice ear cup ones) out of this method! This bluetooth receiver seems to be the smallest one with buttons, do you know if the buttons are compatible with iOS? Example, does the volume and song skip work? Also does the receiver have a pause button? I'm really hoping they are compatible with iOS!

  • Would I need the dongle if I have a DROIDX?

  • Batteries batteries batteries.

  • dongle is a good idea for anything lacking bluetooth, but why on your 3gs? lol
