thanks for doing this video. My son's montessori class would like to do this project. Would you give me the sizes for the wood to be cut. Looks like 7 of one, 2 of another and another 2 of another. Thank you

You are doing some very inspiring stuff there at Clear Springs School. I love the video and have been looking for material to help me teach my 4 year old grandson about my hobby of woodworking safely. This has introduced me to the Sloyd method and I will definitely be using it with all of my grandchildren. I found and downloaded your plans for the bench hook, but needed the video to understand the construction better. I plan on making 3 or 4. Keep up the good work.

The project can be done to different dimensions that you might choose. Our design requires 3 pieces 5/8 in. square x 5 1/4 in. long and one piece 5/8 in. square x 3 3/4 in. The top pieces are 3/8 in. thick by 3/4 in. wide x 5 1/4 in. long.

Kids all over the world need to be working with their hands. Your grandchildren are very lucky to have you to introduce them to the joy of woodworking.
