Painting time attack line on the HPI wheels for one of my client. The original wheels were black. but it was badly painted in white color. So I had to clean the old paint off of the wheel, prep them, painted everything in white first then added the time attack line.

  • @PanCakePB sorry, i don't remember the title, try to shazam it.

  • Use a circle cutter to cut the paint tape first, then place the tape on the wheel. set the radius to create the width of the line.

  • awsome ! but i have a q .. so i have some hpi firestorm rims and wanna paint them some coler from black , but im woried what when i go offroading the pant will flake off do u think i should do it?

  • reminds me of when i used to build custom low-rider model vehicles. which included working hoppers, stereos, under-glow.... ahhhh brings back so many memories

  • @PUPERNIN use a fine sandpaper and sand the surface before painting, the paint will stick to the sanded surface and wont break off.
