UN Women Australia commissioned a short documentary to be made to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of International Women's Day. 'On Her Shoulders' follows the history of International Women's Day and the struggles women have faced. In addition, it looks at what still needs to be achieved to ensure that gender equality can be fully realised.
@GirlHolland Lol you're just proving that women are only smarter than the boys in elementary school.

@GirlHolland you are sitting in a building built by men, on a computer built by men, using internet invented by men. you rely on men for everything in your life.
i know this because every woman in the world is doing the same thing
you also seem to have a loud mouth, like most women. you need that to make up for your shortcomings

WOMAN RULE. WOMAN CAN DO EVERY SINGLE THING GUYS CAN. WE GET OUR PERIODS FOR YEARS AND YEARS, WE TAKE CARE OF OUR HOUSE, WE CAN MAKE MONEY, WE CARRY BABYS FOR NINE MONTHS, WE ARE BETTER IN RAISING THEM, WE ARE SENSITIVE, WE ARE GREAT LEADERS, WE ARE STRONG, WE ARE FIGHTERS, WE ARE "WEAKER" BUILT, JUST NATURALLY, BUT WE HAVE MUCH MORE TO SUFFER FROM. WOMAN ARE THE STRONGEST SEX. ITS JUST A FACT!!

@AlekNovy I said blacks WERE oppressed by white people. Can't you read? Nevermind, i'm done with discussing this. Have a nice life.

@niknik2203 "Just as whites collectively oppressed blacks for many centuries in the US."
Pick up some of the papers that prove the media and the judiciary discriminates against black men. Read them.
THOSE EXACT SAME PAPERS show that exact same bias against other men as well. The VERY papers that prove that blacks are still discriminated against, they have black men as the highest graph in the chart, but other men (all other men) are a close second, minority women third, white women LAST.

@niknik2203 "Just as whites collectively oppressed blacks for many centuries in the US."
You do realize that black MEN are still the most discriminated and oppressed group right? Ever pick up one of those papers that prove this? I have.
You know what those same papers prove? THE EXACT SAME RESEARCH that shows that black men are the most discriminated in society (using a certain methodology) show that all other groups of men are a close second. Minority women are third.

@niknik2203 "I didn't say every individual man oppressed women, i said men collectively as a gender did so"
I know exactly what you said and its vile hateful slander and bigotry. Men as a group did not oppress women.
THE ELITES, the 0.000000000001% on top of society oppressed EVERYONE. The fact that they mostly owned penises, does not mean that we THE COMMON MAN are at fault as a GROUP.
A statement such as "men opressed women" is EQUIVALENT to anti-semitic statement like "jew-owned media".

@AlekNovy No, I didn't say every individual man oppressed women, i said men collectively as a gender did so. Just as whites collectively oppressed blacks for many centuries in the US.
There are women in Saudi Arabia who are not even allowed to drive and have to be escorted by male relatives when they leave the house.
I also acknowleged in my previous comment to you that there were men who helped fight for womens equality during the liberation. I'm erasing no history there.

@niknik2203 "Women have been opressed in virtually all socieies and are still opressed in some today."
No. WORKING PEOPLE OF EITHER GENDER HAVE BEEN OPRESSED FOR CENTURIES. What feminists do is take the 0.00001% of people on the top who opressed us ALL, and then say "men opressed women".
What feminists do is MAKE COMMON MEN in history invisible. YOU FREAKING ERASE the opressed men who FOUGHT for our freedoms and you dare say that the COMMON man was an oppressor.

@AlekNovy "You do realize the NAZIS used the same rhetoric to justify hatred against jews right?"
This is not about spreading hate. It's about ackowledging the struggle for womens equality. There were also men who helped fight for womens' rights too.
