  • sorryfor double comment, but, its pronounced barl, like the word barley, but without the ey.

  • Well thats a new one!

  • aww man my freind bought a pred and put the las cannons sponsons on so i have his heavy bolter sponsons and i wish i could give them to you.

  • Thats ok, Ilike the ones I made, they look sleek! Thanks for the offer though.

  • it's pronounced like bale. : D hope that helps!

  • I have heard from about 60 different guys, and I would have to say it is split just about down the middle on peoples opinions. Baal rhyming with Pale of water or pale ale, or Baal rhyming with Basket Ball or my friend Paul. I think it comes down to a regional and ethnic thing, depending on where you are from or what you believe. I also heard a few people say Baal rhiming with pal or Sal. The only true answer will come from the GW guys who named it. I will email GW!

  • @jawaballs call i what you want it to be called

  • @lvaley this is correct, with a long A in the middle, rather than bale, ball or bal. In the way of most names in 40K its stolen from history/mythology/religion. Baal was one of the canaanite gods and came to mean many different references to gods but primarily a false god in Hebrew.

It won't let me post a link but if you wikipedia Ba'al it has a whole lot more!
