Nine News Sydney (08/07/09) - Part 1/2 Jackson Memorial [HD]

Presented by Peter Overton, Robert Penfold, Peter Stefanovic and Tom Steinfort, this bulletin accounted for the Michael Jackson memorial service following the "King of Pop's" sudden and tragic death at the age of 50. The bulletin had comprehensive coverage of the memorial with 15 of the 30 minutes dedicated to it. There was also outstanding presentation through the use of various presentation angles and plasma screens in the new set. However, I must say it was disappointing to see the rest of the days news compressed in to 5 minutes air time with less content than one would normally see on the news headlines on the TODAY Show. What Nine News should have done was to have extended the bulletin to 45-50 minutes like they did for the previous Jackson bulletin, thereby allowing more news to be covered.
