Custom install in a Lexus IS 300 by Robert Davidoski from Mobile One - Texas

This customer lives almost five hours away and makes the drive to Houston for me to work on his cars. Since this is a race car, I wanted to go simple, but cool. I built the fiberglass enclosure and had it painted. He had all of these performance controllers up front, so I integrated them into the custom kit. The kit is made out of ABS and has no body fillersor fiberglass in it. The amps were mounted on Acrylic shelves. these rack appear to be floating in the trunk. Since the battery was already relocated into the trunk, I mounted it in the sparetire well.

@jollygingerguy The number one rule in retail...Give the customer what they want. He came in asked for red, he got red. Sometimes your personal opinions or taste have to be left out of the equation. I wouldn't get much work telling my customer thier ideas "look stupid".

@tomcatdcn yes. He has some imported supra motor or something in it. not into the race scene, but the car sounds nasty and looks nasty under the hood. Since I didn't do any work there i didn't include those pics.

@loserwing according to the owner, yes, but it is a stripped down version. This particular one is a J Spec, or something. he explained it all before giving me a ride in it, but that was a whiel ago

@Mahaney82 Geeze man, you really make yourself out to be a smart guy, but based on your previous message, you just made a fool of yourself, and I don't need to argue with fools. :) I know more about transmissions than you do as I have been working on them for over 10 years. In addition to them being slower, autos are much less reliable. peace

@tomcatdcn Who said I own an auto? I never did. Im sorry that slow brain of yours cant seem to comprehend simple logisics or be open enough to accept that the autos are good when upgraded. Just like a clutch should be upgraded in a manual. I feel sorry for you. Try and enjoy not knowing as much as you can in this world. Poor, kid.

@Mahaney82 Look man, don't be upset because you're mad at yourself for picking the slower more boring transmission... for dragging, power shifting a manual will always be faster than a comparative automatic.
