Kings vs. Lakers, 2002 WCF Game 6, Part 3 of 3

Kings' highlights and lowlights from game 6. I seem to be missing most of the 3rd quarter, so this isn't a complete summary.

Huge Laker fan dating back to days of Kareem & Magic. As much as I would have love to see LA win this game, not under these conditions. Officiating was absolutely horrendous. Kings definitely better team on this night & in this series.

doherty has admited that this game was purposefully officiated to force a game seven. Game seven was officiated properly and the Lakers won it. But game six is unquestioned in being fixed by the refs... I mean, cmon. the lead ref has addmited(in his book he wrote in prison) that this game was fixed by the refs to force a game seven

It's Donaghy for one and for two...it's EASY for someone facing prison time to start singing. But Tim Donaghy was NOT one of the officials for this game. That is the equivalent of me working at Ford, losing my job, and then claiming the Ford family is racist. I have plenty of questions about it...the NBA has always had less than great officiating, even before "superstar" treatment. There were some laughable calls, but not enough to justify a conspiracy to me because that happens EVERY GAME.

I think it's more like (continuing the metaphor) Ford having a meeting which says that everyone who agrees to charge more to (say females) gets to keep their jobs. Then one of them gets busted for gender discrimination and they start singing.
Because of no incentive to 'keep quiet'. Because, well you don't have your job anymore.

This was either really bad, or really rigged. Either one is possible. But there's more profit involved in the latter. And the Ford family do love profit...
