Happens to christianity, paganism, Wicca, Islam, new Age, hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, animism, Buddhism, Hinduism, native sweat lodges, etc, etc. If your claims were true this would happen only to christians. But it doesn't.

,'Mrs Murray has a deep faith. I never believed in miracles and was very cynical about prayer. Rachel was healed a hundread per cent by the power of prayer. That was 4 months ago, and I can still remember the wonderful experience. No one left the operating theatre the same person. i feel emotional every time I look at Rachel's notes. She had no pain, almost as though if it had never happend- yet it did- I was there. She believed, and her church prayed.

One pair of hands actually helping is worth more than a million pairs of hands clasped in prayer. Prayer is an excuse to stay comfortably at home while feeling like you are helping others. Prayer is nearly always a substitute for getting involved. Or, in the case of praying for the sick, a substitute for common sense. Prayer with fasting is often effective, if you don't cheat on the fasting and if what you are praying for is weight loss! If you want to help, unfold your hands and get involved!
