Was playing Leeds town hall organ the other night for my School Speech Day. After I'd played my couple of piece, head of music said why don't I play a few pieces. Got and this, from a tatty book, that was falling apart and said "I haven't played this in years" then preceded to play it perfectly even with a fool like me page turning! What an awesome piece of music. I am so going to learn this!

Tell Ben, this is fantastic, and brilliant stuff!

The audio quality of this recording is better than many other recordings of this organ - but the MP4 video audio quality garbles the audio to some extent. Search "Ben Scott Widor" for another video with possibly better audio quality on a popular piece!

Isn't it possible to set combinitions on this organ?

Yes it is - a limited extent - the original instrument had 8 on three memories and the additions have 5 on five memories. But the first level are reserved for departmental and crescendo settings and on the additions, the fifth level are reserved for French Baroque . . .
And then there is a problem. Whenever I add a section intended for specific use, not under automatic controls, no-one can resist using it for general use. So manual attention becomes necessary. An old organ tradition . . . !
