This must had been in an akward situation for Augeri. JourneyAugeri had achieved the walk of fame after seven years of hard work. Suddenly, out of the blows Steve Perry came and stole Augeri's show.

The Walk of Fame stars are given to those who achieve stardom and Augeri never has. It is Steve Perry' who has the talent and its his voice that everyone recognizes; so much so, that the "new" Journey keeps hiring singers that sound just like him! So no, Steve Perry did not steal Augeri's show- Augeri should never have shown up in the first place.

I don't dislike Augeri, but he doesn't compare to Perry. He should have not been there. Perry made the band a success, Augeri had nothing to do with that!

@ShadowOfTheWave so lets say Journey never existed before 'Arrival' & 'Generations' & off the back of those albums they got the star,disregard the albums with Steve Perry,they in your opinion would have gotton the star just on the basis of the 2 albums with Augeri? If the answer to that is yes,then you seriously need to read up on who is eligable for a star,you have to be a recording artist for 25yrs before you can be nominated,therefore Augeri was'nt intitled to a star.
