@MrJustdaman11 He was just a certified "Cutter Swimmer" When I was on that boat they had roughly 3 to 5 that were always qualified for the job. The guy in the water is an E3 that was interested in going AST so what better way than to qualify as a swimmer..

So wait was that rescue swimmer in the water an AST or just a worker on the cutter that got rescue swimmer certified like they do in the Navy?
