i haven't watched the whole documentary yet....but i really don't have to....seriously, just spend five minutes with john stoll, and you are just SHOCKED he was accused of such a thing! he's the sweetest guy you could meet

Truly shocking, I have just finished watching the full documentry, my thoughts are with all involved and those poor "children" that are now left with guilt to those convicted, and cant bear to even bathe their own children through fear, not only their innocence to be taken away but to be told they are liars when they finanly grow old enough and tell the truth!!

Our justice system is still just like the Salem Witch Trials. They give out plea bargains, just say you're guilty and they'll let you off easy, but heaven help you if you maintain your innocence!
And then there's CPS, the child kidnappers, who are somehow above all the other laws. Even if the charges are dropped, you still have to go to a different court to try to get your child back, and if they don't like you, you're screwed. :(

The answer to Sevcik's question is, "Because the people of Bakersfield keep voting him back in."

The only thing they hate more than Jagels is the prospect of not having him in office to reign terror down on the people THEY hate.

I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, and I'm here to tell you that this most certainly IS ABOUT conservative or liberal thinking, Jazzeplayer! That town is FUELED by conservative thinking, and this witch hunt was born from it. It's 99.9% Christian, bible-thumping red necks who have a "hang 'em high" mentality. My husband and i R raising our 8yr old grand-daughter who is blessed with downs .. family services was called do to a medical condition indicative to downs .. we complied with every investigation. then case is 3yrs old now and apparently no one has the authority to close it . Information on my daughter (28) is constantly being confused with my own . I luv my grand daughter and will endure any test necessary .. my worry is 4 the child who is in dire need of help .

i hope Ed Jagels all the worst!! What a fucking bitch of a human being!! Putting away all those innocent people for all those years! He ruined many lives and i hope he dies a slow and painful death! yes man i'm with you, i have my dad ronny jimenez are convict for chil amolestation the two girls for my brrother exwife, the Distric atorney dont want llisteng nothig about the case and just the beleivle at the girls worfd, we are doing private investegation but the dont want to drop the charges I'm at the point hace to make this happend my self and start wlaking out side of court and make noice see what can justice we have on this country.

I couldnt stop crying because I know what they went through and how they feel for I was a victim of CPS who wrongfully took my 16 year old daughter claiming she was abused after she cut herself with a paperclip at school because a social worker upset her.........so sad
