"Deciphering Me" - Edison Chen & Charlene Choi

A babystarlet Production

STORYLINE:

This is about a couple, Edison Chen & Charlene Choi, who went through a not-so-ordinary relationship.

He, Edison Chen, is a bright star in the Entertainment industry. She, Charlene Choi, is just another girl. However, he fell in love with her. She was different, different from all his other ex-girlfriends who had adored and worshipped him as their idol.

Charlene, she couldn't care less about his good looks; she wasn't even a fan of his acting or singing. Yet, she loved him. She loved him for himself. Not because he was 'Edison Chen' the great.

But, one day she left. Charlene thought it would lighten the burden of Edison having to deal with rife and raging reporters' news about the two of them. Not knowing her reason for the break up, he was left heartbroken.

3 years later, they meet again by chance at the crossroads one late night. They immediately recognized one another. However, Charlene looked away, pretending they were strangers. Edison got the hint; she didn't want to talk to him at all.

All the exhaustion from filming that afternoon before took a toll on Edison as he fainted while crossing the road. Charlene, who denyingly still love Edison as before, ran back to help him. At the hospital, Edison asked Charlene to come back to him, however, she left, pretending that she didn't feel a thing for him anymore.

Haunted by their memories, both Edison and Charlene had a sleepless night. The next morning, Edison was determined to find Charlene. Flashbacks of their favorite hideout at the dock near the seaside, Edison speeds there and found a quiet Charlene, beautifully sitting there by the rocks. Charlene, feeling the stare of Edison, broke of out her deep thought and glanced up to see Edison gazing lovingly at her.

"I love you."

At the sound of those 3 words coming from Edison, reflecting exactly what Charlene's heart was trying to scream to her throughout these past 3 years, Charlene couldn't lie to herself any longer. Edison had deciphered her, he realized that she still loved him, no matter how many times she had rejected his advances these years. They were meant to be; they belong.

edison plays a role as a handsome+nice ghost...

the ending was so sad..i cried..huhus...
