The Nikon D7000 does continual autofocus. Canons don't do it, I don't think.

Cool video, I know a tiny bit, I took a photo class in school, had to get a dSLR, wish I'd gotten one that did video and not just photos. Can't you just rotate that tripod base 90 degrees and be able to replace the battery or is the battery cover too long?

I'm pining for a new camera. My last one died a tragic death last October when I fell through a rotten wooden bridge on a hike and it landed in a brook. All this camera jargon feels like home to me - and it makes me long for some disposable income!

Also I love that cheeky little smile at the end of your new outro. Gets me every time.

You're right, you mainly have to manual focus with DSLRs... and it's also very noisy auto focusing if you don't have a USM lens.
