I've seen the documentary but not the movie w/ Drew.

You've taken a lot of crap for doing this bit. I actually LOVED it!!! You do an excellent job of portraying Little Edie. You speak & sound just like her. Your facial expressions are perfect. Needless to say...you look just like her!!

Have you seen the Little Edie Blythe doll? You'd love it. A bit expensive, though.

I guess I touched some nerves. I understand someone being a fan of Drew, and she is an adequate actress. I just thought she wasn't quite able to pull off Edie in her 50s. A lot of women are, so it isn't your fault. However, you'll probably never find contentment or happiness in this world. I suggest you look at videos that only please you. You don't need any more aggrevation in your life. Take up yoga and meditate and get on your knees and pray to God that you never get any older!

I don't understand the criticisms. I've watched the documentary multiple times and the HBO movie, and I think you completely inhabit the role of Little Edie. It's just quite amazing, the cadence of speech, just everything gels. A wonderful characterization of a big personality!
