I have watched all your tutorials, and must say thanks! I don't know how you find the time to do these tutorials, but they are such a great help to people starting out. You just saved me lots of cash...won't bother with Magic Bullets! I have Premiere Pro CS4, and now can really use it.
You had asked for ideas for more tutorials...so if you have time, some more details on camera settings and filters with the 7D would be wonderful. Your tutorials are so valuable, and I love your work.

Hey man, could you tell me what the closest effect to "three way colour corrector" is in After Effects? :) Keep up the good work.

Which codec and bitrate were the video files encoded into from the camera?

hey mate......seen all your videos...u are doing a fantastic job.....had one question...i have started out wid a canon hf s21......and my query is.....when i shoot in 24fps...there is a motion blurr when i move my camera.......y is it so? so do u recommend taking shots in 60i and then convert to 24p??

@priyankbhadkamkar Make sure you set your shutter speed correctly to avoid motion blur. Watch my DOF tutorial #15 at around 5:30 mark to see what I mean. Different shutter speeds create different effects that I show in that video. hope this helps! and thnx for watching!

thank you for your fantastic tutorials! This video unfolded the secret of color correction :D
I have a problem though, the final rendered video looks great on my computer, but when i burn it to a dvd & play it on my tv O.O it looks very different. What would be the settings for a regular dvd on AP cs5? I have a canon xh a1s in what format should i set my camera for dvd 60i? And what format should i use when i capture it in Premiere?
Should i use interlaced for DVDs? Tutorial? blessings!

@PalabraDeSABIDURIA Capture using the HDV preset in Premiere. Output interlaced if you shot it anything other than 24fps. If your video is at 24fps then output 24P. What do you mean the video looks different? Different colors? If so then you first have to calibrate your monitor so it matches most TVs. Either that or your TV has horrible colors. There will always be a difference between each monitor and TV, so expect that. Still calibrate your monitor so it matches most average TVs

Could you please explain what crushing blacks is and why we should do it?
poolboyinla 2 years ago 11
crashing the blacks is basickly increasing the contrast of the shot but only in the shadows. this way it adds more definition to your shot without making the whole image look very contrasted.
