My girlfriend is offering to buy me a pedal. and I've read alot of people talk about tube screamers, and now this pedal. How's this one different? More versatile you think or?

great pedal...nails the jimmy page yardbirds tones.I got mine used at Guitar Center of all places for $100

This is an amazing pedal...I've had mine since '97. Many pedals/preamps have come and gone from my rig over the years, but the Yardbox has always stayed firmly in place.

Don't ever sell that pedal! I've had mine for 12 years now. I saved all the money I could over summer vacation to get one. Every guitar I played through it, cheap and expensive, sounded great.
