As a libertarian, I don't disagree with any of this. Corporatism is nobody's friend.

@TiradeFaction It's all a giant shell game. All you need to do is follow the money, and a whole hidden world of grift and corruption appears, and suddenly things make a lot more sense.

Yeah, this is kind of frivolous, considering the subject matter, but I'm so jealous of your facial hair. I'm 40 years old, but I have just enough native blood in me that I STILL can't grow a decent mustache. Have fun with it, my friend and I'll "live the dream" vicariously through you.

@bweazel "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." -- Benito Mussolini

@comusnine Does that mean you are for deregulation then?
-
@TreachMarkets Define: Corporatism.

@ThePunkPatriot All I'm saying is stop generalizing. My point was that MOST corporations do not own media companies, and your entire video was about corporations in general. Some corporations are good, ok? The more of your videos I watch, the more you look like a socialist and a statist, that would rather have the government run things instead of private individuals. You all get so angry and jealous about private citizen's gains, that your willing to give away your liberty to stop them. *sigh*

@ThePunkPatriot Then stop watching them, bro. I'm well aware of what GE owns. And for all the "evil" you say they do, they have actually given much back too. The electricity in your house is most likely provided to you by a GE turbine. I'm sure someone in your family has been treated by some sort of GE medical technology. Sure, they make pieces for the Minutemen, but honestly, I'm glad they do. I'm much happier GE is an American company than a Russian or Chinese company.
-
@ThePunkPatriot Exactly. If you have a problem with GE, take it up with them, say GE is too big, say they're evil, but you always take it to that next level, you blame capitalism and corporations and marginalize the entire idea of a corporation simply because a couple of them are rotten eggs. You don't like GE? Stop watching NBC. It's really that simple. Each and every one of those channels you put up there are pure crap, and I never watch any of them, why do you? If you don't, why do you care?
"They own the media". Huh? Ummm, the majority of corporations do not own any media. Period. And if they do, it's a portfolio investment and they own just about as much media as your average American does, when you compare the holdings as a percentage of their income.
More socialist bs. Raise the socialist welfare state, then blame it on the corporations. You have a problem with the media or GE, take it up with them, stop blaming all of corporate America for these problems.

@bweazel way to flaunt your ignorance.

@bweazel There are six corporate conglomerates that own almost all media in the USA. That includes TV, film, internet and phone service... and they just happen to own other things like subsidiaries that make missiles, fighter jet engines, oil drilling equipment, etc, etc etc.
