*Next morning*
Demi: (Wakes up feeling Codys arm around her. She begins to try to shake it off)
Cody: (Half awake, he laughs and hugs her tighter)
Demi: Get off me.
Cody: (Fully wakes up) Well arent we feisty this morning?
Demi: (Slides over a bit, getting away from his grip) Bastard.
Cody: (Shakes his head and raises a hand)
Demi: (Closes her eyes scared)
Cody: If you werent pregnant there wouldnt be one thing stopping me from beating the shit out of you.
Demi: So I figured.
Cody: (Grabs her face and kisses her)
Demi: (Pulls away) I hate you.
Cody: Thats no way to talk to the person with your life in their hands.
Demi: I dont even care anymore.
Cody: Oh, alright (Pulls a knife out of his pants pocket)
Demi: No, no. Cody, dont. Please.
Cody: (Laughs and puts it away) Thats what I thought. So any requests for dinner?
Demi: (Lying) Ive really been craving a number six from Pattys Diner.
Cody: (Sighs) Where is that?
Demi: Its about twenty minutes west.
Cody: Fine.
Demi: Thanks.
Cody: Whatever (Walks out of the room and brings in a fruit smoothie, and a sandwich) Heres your breakfast, and your lunch (Unties one hand, and handcuffs the other one to the bedpost) Now that youll stay here, Ill let you eat on your own. Im going out for the day so I will see you later with your dinner.
Demi: (Nods, drinking her smoothie)
Cody: (Bends over and kisses her stomach) Love you little girl (Kisses Demi) See you dear.
Demi: (Holds back tears, waiting for him to leave)
Cody: (Leaves)

*Later at Pattys, Nick and Selena have arrived and met up with David and Miley. Miley was working the take out counter so she took a break while it wasnt busy. Theyve all already got their food on the way and are talking about what to do about Demi*
Selena: Joes eating himself up about it.
Miley: Well can you blame him? He did do this.
David: Mi
Nick: I know that he hurt her, but its not like her to just leave after that. She wouldve come to Selena or I if she was scared.
Miley: I guess youre right. But Joe overstepped, he should never of hit her.
David: No he shouldnt of.
Selena: I dont understand if she needed space, why shes been gone so long.
Miley: Well I really think that theres something we have to do to find her. I mean if she left for space this time and we find her, well still give it to her.
Selena: She should know how worried we are.
David: Im sure she does (Looks up and sees someone walk into the diner and over to the take out counter). Well Mi, looks like breaks over.
Miley: (Sighs) Of course it is. Ill be back in a bit guys (Goes over to the counter and stands in front of the man with her notepad in her hand) What can I get you today sir?
Customer: (Reading the menu) Ill get two number sixs to go please (Looks up)
Miley: (Eyes widen) Cody?!
Cody: Is there a problem, Miley? Id like my food.
Miley: (Curious) Thats an awful lot of food for just one person.
Cody: Who my food is for doesnt concern you. Now could you please pass my order to the cook and hurry up?
Miley: Yes sir (Puts in the order) So what brings you here?
Cody: I guess you could say Im tying up loose ends.
Miley: (Subtly pages David on the walkie talkie)

*At the table, David takes out his walkie talkie*
David: Weird, Miley just paged me (Looks over at her talking to the customer)
Selena: (Glances over quickly then giggles) Guy must be a creep.
Nick: Aw, she needs her little Davie to come to the rescue.
David: Ha, ha funny guys. Ill be right back.
Selena: (Laughs) Alright.
David: (Walks over to the counter, noticing Cody, but not letting himself be noticed and starts cleaning dishes while listening to their conversation)
Miley: Are you in school?
Cody: No Im not.
Miley: So youre working?
Cody: Forty hours a week.
Miley: Doing what?
Cody: Construction.
Miley: And youre into that?
Cody: Pays the bills.
Miley: (Giggles nervously) What bills do you have?
Cody: Not many, but I will have more soon.
Miley: What are you talking about?
Cody: My girlfriend is pregnant.
Miley: (Lying) Oh thats great, boy or girl?
Cody: Girl.
Miley: I bet youre happy.
Cody: You could say that.
Miley: So your food comes to $17.50.
Cody: (Passes her the money)
Miley: It should be ready in a few moments.
Cody: Thanks.
Miley: So you like the food at Pattys?
Cody: Its alright.
Miley: And you always get take out?
Cody: Yeah.
Miley: You dont like to eat out with your girlfriend?
Cody: We dont get out much.
Miley: Oh, thats too bad, wouldve been nice to meet her. Whats her name?
Cody: (Thinking) Its Taylor.
Miley: (Knows that Taylor is still in Texas) Oh, I didnt know. How long have you lived here?
Cody: Almost three years.
Miley: And you live in town?
Cody: We live about twenty minutes east of here actually.
