@muziquelle he doesn't hate the beat as such - he hates the fact he never received a single penny in royalties from the hundreds of records that used it. Who can blame him?

@muziquelle he hasn't had cancer - he had kidney failure and needed a transplant. he is so poor that the money had to be raised by bands in his home town - it's no wonder he feels aggrieved that James Brown didn't pass on royalties for his work.

i know that funky drummer is a different song lol. he IS the funky drummer. he refused to play that song though because he hates it.

He plays it like a rock beat, not like the funky drummer ! And his snare sounds so much like... Shit... No offense and all, but this really isn't a good performance.
