There is just something about this song that strikes a chord with me. I mean I had friends in school, but sometimes you can be surrounded by people and feel utterly alone despite everything. But this song gets me every time.

I remember in high school, we were allowed to go to the pizza place next door during lunch period. My "friends" and I got our food then went to find a table. I was the last in line to get my food, and there wasn't any room left at the table. So I left, and ate all alone under the trees in front of the school.

No one noticed when I left.

I think when we're surrounded by our friends it's easy to forget that there are people who feel like they are all alone, and it's even easier for us to just keep pretending they don't exist. We take the life we have for granted and we don't really realize how lucky we truly are. It's time to notice the Miss Invisibles.

When I was younger I was the tall one. Green Giant, Too Tall, No Good.

This song makes me cry every time I hear it but not because it was me.

I always had friends to help me through the bullying.

The reason I cry is because I know people who were not so lucky, who didn't have the support they needed.

Everyone needs a friend and when you give your kindness to that one person, their smile can break your heart but at the same time fill you with warmth for the rest of your life.
