" When you're playing a style of music that doesn't really
fit anywhere, you run a risk. You're challenging people to
leave their niche, to leave their predetermined ideas of
what they're supposed to like. Luckily, we have a lot of
people who just focus on the music and appreciate us for
what we are. So we get fans from all different genres of
music, the jocks, the spooky kids, skaters, college kids,
punk rockers, hardcore kids, metal kids, all that" - Davey Havok.

WHY CAN'T FANS OF OLD AFI JUST BE ALLOWED TO EXPRESS EMOTIONS. YOU LIKE THE NEW STUFF YOU'RE ALLOWED TO SAY THAT OKAY CAN I SAY THAT I LIKE AND MISS THE OLD STUFF JEEZ SERIOUSLY EVERYONE SHUT UP let's just enjoy what we enjoy and not yell at each other for HAVING FEELINGS. you guys.

@dontwatchitman I actually found them through Prelude 12/21 not so long ago but man I'm hooked. This is the first band I actually can say I love every album every song to the hart
-
Will we ever hear a AFI like this again?

These people below are about the most ignorant people I've ever rea dfrfom.
Why can't I play a fucking AFI video anymore without reading a bunch of whiny complains about what "the true afi" is? The true AFI is whatever AFI chooses to be. Nobody cares what albums you like and don't like. Just don't listen to what you don't like. Problem solved.

@Dustin795 I got into AFI from Miss Murder. The song's popularity gave them an explosion of fans, more money, and more room for creativity (all of which they deserve.) You should be happy that people liked that song, because it helped a band you like. Miss Murder was a launch pad for their success; if you truly liked the band, you would be happy for them. My favourite albums are Art of Drowning & Sing the Sorrow, but no album sucks.
