Uh, of course it's a political answer. He obviously doesn't care about marijuana smokers. This is something he can leave for the states (the states deregulating it are coming down like dominoes) to decide without blowing more of his extremely valuable political capital on something that is, quite frankly, not the most important issue at the moment. This is just one of those issues where there just isn't a need for federal involvement.

why cant we talk about cannabis without laughing? and doesn't bring up any facts on why it is illegal he doesn't say how many people that this substance kills a year (0) how much it cost for the DEA to remove it (they have a blank check of your tax money) does the DEA really work (no) and how many people get killed in the black market (millions) how Mexican drug cartels get billions of dollars? and more, come on talk about it don't be immature

@jenn1ifer just alcohol tobbacco coffee tylenol and a thousand others that can actually kill you those drugs are allright, but marijuana which virtually cant be overdosed on and has many medicinal applications is bad
