Have any of you heard the story that was written about this piece? After it was written, someone gave it an accompanying story. A man being buried alive. Can't you hear the church bells at the beginning? The somber mood is so well portrayed I can almost picture people standing around a casket all dressed in black. The middle part: waking up underground. Frantic. Clawing your way through earth attempting to reach the surface. All to die just before you reach the top and escape. Bravo.

I want this song to be played at my funeral......

@then1ght93 I'm trying to play this piece currently and I still thumbs-upped it. xD I'd argue that the chords are harder than the fast triplet part.

I heard this is about a dream he had in which he woke up (in his dream) and found himself inside a coffin being buried at his funeral. The middle part is his torment as he realises that, well.. he's alive and heading for his grave..

Slow makes this much more powerful and dark.
5 people don't play the piano.

Beautiful rendition; to me, too many pianists get too caught up in the music and play it too fast and miss all the appropriate pauses.
