The IMP was launched just two years ago and is already revolutionising the way in which we manage maritime affairs in Europe. Its whole new approach, designed to remove the barriers between different sectors and place a sustainable, global vision at the heart of all maritime initiatives, has won the support of Europe's decision-makers and maritime players. We can now set about harnessing the potential of our seas and oceans to generate economic growth and create new jobs, while respecting the marine environment.

haha i love how u think the EU is listning to you

  • That sure is awesome. Constructing massive underwater power plants that will disrupt marine life. And who the hell are Europeans to talk about respecting marine resources? It's Europeans who has made the Atlantic cod collapse by overfishing, and the Bluefin Tuna is very close to the same fate. Fuck off and let someone competent do this, and aim your resources at stuff such as vertical farming, reducing the overpopulation and fusion power plants. This is bullshit.

  • This would be quite significant for Scotland and Denmark .

    What changes to current legislation

    would this involve ?
