My original plan was to take apart my MosterTruck and use the electronics to make a small battle bot for fun. when i finally got the internals out of the truck I mounted them to a chassis and went to test it out. well it didn't move very well, so instead I'm using the drive motor to power an axe weapon on a future bot.

  • @mashersmasher i do understand gearing (maybe not my 10 months ago self)

for this this though i think i ment if there was more torque behind the motor (by gearing it down) i could lift the axe easyer therefore having a bit of speed. but idk what was going on in my mind back then

  • @TheHazzabigun That's not how gearing works. You get more torque by making it slower and gain more speed at the expense of torque so no, you can't have both.

  • put your hand where the metal thing it! : )

  • gear it down for more torque and speed
