@RepublicEmpire Democracy is free speech ? Then why was Socrates killed by Athenian democracy for expressing his freedom of speech ? Why do so many modern democratic countries have laws which restrict ones freedom of speech ?

@hula4483 no democracy gives everyone an equal opportunity to express themselves without persecution from the government, or so it should, both majority and minority. however, it does give people the right to promote favouritism and make biased or purely opinionated judgements, which can lead to discrimination. so i guess that you... are... ahem... right... in a way.

@ZukaZumamee Also true. I think a solution to that problem is to eliminate poverty by education and fair play. Its a well known fact that uneducated people generally have more children, and it's insane taken that they tend to be poor already and now get even lesser chanse to stay afloat with more mouths to feed. Education must be substantial and teach people how to think for themselves so that new possibilities are created instead of cattle for industry. There's real potential in each man alive.

@ChrisSkills True true, I never said our current way of life isn't destructive. I just don't think it's the best idea to create a society where populations can (and will) boom.
